Locify is a personal location-saving app for iOS and iPadOS, developed by Hiep Le. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
Locify does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not track you.
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide app functionality.

Not collected: email address, name, phone number, address, user IDs, contacts, messages, health data, financial data, browsing history, search history, crash data, performance metrics, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any data used for cross-app tracking.

All data is stored locally on your device only using SwiftData and the app's local file system. Nothing is sent to any server.
We use Apple MapKit for map display and location search. MapKit queries are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. No other third-party SDKs (analytics, advertising, crash reporting) are included in the app.
You are in full control of your data. All collections, locations, and photos are stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
We do not store any of your data on external servers. There is nothing to retain or delete on our end.

Revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your device.
Locify does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and does not request
permission to track you across other apps or websites. Our NSPrivacyTracking
value is false, and our tracking domains list is empty.
No advertising network, analytics SDK, or behavioural profiling tool is embedded in the app.
Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of your data.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Locify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
All your data is stored locally on your device within the app's sandboxed container. It is protected by iOS's built-in data protection (encrypted at rest when the device is locked). No credentials or sensitive data are transmitted over the network.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we revise the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email if you have an account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
